Graphics
Alrighty. I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9 & Adobe Photoshop 9.0. I just recently got photoshop ( :DDD) so most of the graphics you see on here were done on PSP 8 or 9. I had 8 a while ago, and it was good, but I recently switched to 9. It has a few extra things that that it a little better than 8, but both of them are fine if your going to be making graphics. ( & If you can get photoshop, GET IT. IT'S FREAKIN AMAZINGG (: )
For making my icons, I use Jasc Animation Shop 3. It works fine with animation, and you need this program if your going to do any sort of animated gif. files, especially animated icons. You can download AS3here
